FNSS made Marine Assault Vehicles participate in the naval training for the first time

Armored Marine Assault Vehicles produced by FNSS and delivered to the Turkish Navy on 26 May participated in naval exercises held by the Naval Forces Command for the first time.

A video of the exercise also included the first footage of TCG Anadolu in an exercise, the largest warship of the Turkish Armed Forces, where a CH-47 Chinook helicopter can be seen landing on TCG Anadolu. The video also showed the moments when personnel were transported by helicopter from TCG Anadolu, disembarking with the Marine Assault Vehicle (MAV), as well as firefighting and first aid activities.

9 units of MAV were delivered to the Turkish Naval Forces Command Amphibious Infantry Brigade in a ceremony held on May 26 at the FNSS headquarters in Gölbaşı.

Within the scope of the project, a total of 27 vehicles will be delivered, including 23 personnel carriers, 2 command and control vehicles and 2 rescue vehicles developed by FNSS.

A dual-armed ÇAKA Remote Weapon System, designed by FNSS, provides ZAHA personnel with an important capability in terms of providing firepower while being under the protection of ZAHA’s armor.
