Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of State of Qatar for Defense affairs visited two factories of Italian company Leonardo.
H.E. Dr. Khalid bin Mohammed Al Attiyah, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense of the State of Qatar, visited Leonardo factory in Vergiate (Varese) where he was received by Leonardo CEO, Alessandro Profumo.
This visit is part of a site inspection of the assembly line of the aircrafts of Qatar Amiri Air Force.
H.E. Al Attiyah also visited a second factory of Leonardo in the city of Tessera (Venice), inaugurating helicopter NH90.
During the two visits and the inauguration ceremony, H.E. Al Attiyah was accompanied by H.E. Abdulaziz bin Ahmed Al Malki, Ambassador of the State of Qatar to Italy, Major General Salem bin Hamad Al Nabit, Commander of Qatar Amiri Air Force, Brigadier General Hilal Ali Al Muhannadi, Military Attaché of the State of Qatar to Italy, and by a group of senior officers.
