South Korea is testing a new generation of radars it has developed for its warships, according to the Naval News website.

"Developers at the South Korean company Hanwha Systems have begun testing a new generation of Active Electronically Scanned Array (AESA) radars that they have developed to work with the latest ships in the country's Navy.

According to the site, South Korea "plans to use the new radars on the FFX-III warships, which will start operating the first ship in 2024, and will use them with future KDDX-type naval destroyers, and that these radars will be able to detect about 4000 targets simultaneously." .
