Spanish shipbuilder Navantia displays latest naval technologies at DSEI 2021

Spanish state-owned shipbuilder, Navantia, is taking part in the international defense and security equipment exhibition (DSEI 2021), which is taking place in the British capital, London.

Over the period of the Exhibition which kicked off on Monday to last till the 17th of September, Navantia is displaying its F-110 frigates where visitors will the change to have a unique experience of the ship using augmented reality.

Navantia will also be presenting its auxiliary oiler replenishment ships (AORs), as well as corvettes with a Navantis avatar, which is the company’s advanced training environment that helps with reducing risks and operational costs, besides increasing the knowledge and capabilities of crews.

Navantia, among other four companies, has recently moved on to the next phase of the Fleet Solid Support (FSS) tender to design and build three supply vessels for the British Royal Navy.

Navantia also joined the international defense industry fair (IDEF 2021), which was held in Istanbul last month, where is displayed mockups of its F-110 frigates, as well as the S-80submarine.
