Tawazun Council and Egypt's Ministry of Defense (MoD), represented by Armament Authority, signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) today at IDEX which aims to strengthen cooperation in defense and security industries between the UAE and Egypt.
Tawazun Council is an independent government entity that works closely with the Ministry of Defense and security agencies in the United Arab Emirates.

International Defence Exhibition and Conference (IDEX) is one of the most strategically important tri-service defence exhibition in the world. It is being held from 20 to 24 February 2023 at Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre.
The 5-day exhibition is expected to host more than 15 high-level panels focusing on 3 main themes. Innovative technologies and solutions in the defense industry will be discussed at the panels where prominent leaders from all over the world will take part.
IDEX is held under The Patronage of H.H Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan President Of The United Arab Emirates and Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces and is organised by Capital Events in association and with the full support of the Ministry of Defence.
