Indonesian Ambassador to Türkiye, Dr. Lalu Muhamad Iqbal, spoke to Defensehere.com about the increase in interest from Indonesia to SAHA EXPO and evaluated the fairs effects to the technology development in Türkiye.
Stating that even the Indonesian commander of coast guard will be visiting SAHA EXPO, Ambassador Iqbal said:
"I heard there are more and more Indonesians are interested to attend SAHA EXPO.
I remember SAHA EXPO two years ago for example, there was no significant number of Indonesian visitors but this year I heard even our commander of coast guard will also be visiting the SAHA EXPO.
I follow SAHA EXPO development from the first edition actually from time to time it brings more and more profile to Turkish aerospace industries especially and also Turkish defense industries who are related to aerospace.
And it gives us a picture of the ecosystem of technology development in Türkiye not only in military and defense but also the whole technology development in Türkiye."
International Defense and Aerospace Fair SAHA EXPO-2022, organized by the Defense, Aviation and Space Cluster (SAHA Istanbul), the largest industrial cluster of Europe and Turkey with 816 companies and 22 universities, will be held at Istanbul Expo Center on October 25 through 28.
