Turkey's Nurol Makina to introduce its Yörük 4x4 armored pickup vehicle for the 1st time at IDEF 2021

Nurol Makina, one of the top armored land vehicle manufacturers in Turkey, will exhibit a pickup version of its Yörük 4x4 for the 1st time at the 15th International Defense Industry Fair (IDEF 2021).

Nurol Makine will also exhibit its Ejder Yalçın and Yörük 4x4 Armored Vehicles at IDEF 2021, which is to be held in Istanbul between 17-20 August 2021.

Ejder Yalçın will be exhibited in combat vehicle and ambulance configurations.

The complete version of the Yörük 4x4 armored vehicle, which its qualification tests have been completed and which differs from the prototype exhibited at previous fairs, will also be displayed at IDEF.

Engin Aykol, the General Manager of Nurol Makina, said that as a multi-purpose armored vehicle, the Yörük pick-up can successfully serve as a weapon carrier in harsh weather and terrain conditions.
The vehicle also has the capability to carry safe materials and ammunition and it allows the integration of various manual and remote-controlled weapon systems onto it.

Aykol also emphasized that Yörük pick-up can reach high levels of protection in line with NATO standards thanks to it scalable armor system.
