Türksat growing partnerships in billion dollar MENA market

Türksat is exhibiting its products from 16-18 May in the United Arab Emirates city of Dubai as part of CABSAT 2023, the biggest satellite services and broadcast event in the Middle East.

Türksat, which made a stronger entrance to the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) market with Türksat 5A and Türksat 5B, is increasing its influence on countries in the region.

Türksat A.Ş. Satellite Services Assistant General Manager Dr. Selman Demirel, noting their participation in the MENA region’s largest satellite and broadcast event CABSAT 2023, stated: “We have increased our regional strength and marketing activities with our new satellites Türksat 5A and Türksat 5B. Through the power of our satellites our business partnerships in the region have also increased to a large extent.”

Demirel said they had a strong presence at CABSAT 2023, stating: “With our current satellites, we as TÜRKSAT are able to provide service encompassing many geographies. And with our new satellites Türksat 5A and Türksat 5B, we have increased our strength and marketing activities in the region. With Türksat 5B we are now able to provide data services at a very high speed in Africa and the MENA region in particular. We can consider CABSAT 2023 to be the heart of this region, especially Africa and its surroundings. All of our stakeholders and customers took part in this event. With the strength of our satellites, our business partnerships in the region have also increased significantly.”

Regional business partnerships increased

Türksat Satellite Business Development and Marketing Director Kazım Efendioğlu emphasized that with the commencement of Türksat 5B’s operation came the ability to provide internet and data services to many countries in the MENA region, stating, “Our regional business partnerships increased within this context. At the same time, we are evaluating potential partnerships with many other companies at this event over television broadcasting via our other satellites.”

In the three-day satellite services and broadcast event “CABSAT 2023” that began May 16, Türksat A.Ş. also introduced domestic antenna family PeycON’s HidrON, TerrON, micrON and AerON antennas to attendees.
