Turkey's Defense Industry Agenda 20 – 26 March 2023

• More than 400 visitors, more than 100 defense industry companies and nearly 70 press organizations attended the Defense Industry Media Summit organized by the Defense Industry Research Center (SASAM).

• BMC executives met with members of the defense industry press at the company's campus in Sakarya.

• ASELSAN exhibited its products at the Military Radar and Border Security Summit.

• Fly Bvlos Technology's Jackal UAV continues to undergo flight testing.

• Turkish Aerospace delivered the 58th ATAK helicopter to the Turkish Land Forces Command.

• Konya Chamber of Industry President Mustafa Büyükegen announced that the Konya Chamber of Industry will open a Defense Industry Agency Konya Representative Office.

• FNSS begins delivery of the Armored Amphibious Assault Vehicle ZAHA to the Turkish Naval Forces Command.

• The 4th Military Radar and Border Security Summit, organized by MUSIAD Ankara, hosted over 2,000 visitors.

• The new Altay tank, developed by BMC Defense, was unveiled. Two Altay tanks, whose production process has been completed, will be delivered to the Turkish Armed Forces for testing in April.

• "Mechanical Mine Clearing Equipment Procurement Contract" was signed between ASFAT and the Presidency of Defense Industries to meet the needs of the Gendarmerie General Command.

• The domestic ULAK 4.5G base station integrated into the ANKA UAV platform successfully performed audio and video communication in its first test flight.

• President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan visited Baykar Technologies. After the visit, new photos of Bayraktar TB3 were published.

• HAVELSAN exhibited its products at the Military Radar and Border Security Summit.
