In the statement made on the Twitter account of the Presidency of Defense Industries (SSB), it was shared that the contract negotiations were initiated between the SSB and TR Mekatronik Systems, which was established in partnership with Turkish Aerospace Industry (TAI) and Sarsılmaz, for the development of 25 mm Ground Cannon.
SSB President İsmail Demir said in a statement on his Twitter account, "We will develop the 25 mm Ground Cannon produced subject to an export license with our domestic facilities, in order not to be subject to any foreign dependency and license. Also, it is a product that is used by many countries and has high export potential."
