The agreement was signed by Minister of National Defense Yaşar Güler and Qatari Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense Khalid bin Mohammed Al Attiyah.
President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan attended the 9th Session of the Türkiye-Qatar High Strategic Committee. He was welcomed with an official ceremony by the Emir of Qatar, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, in Doha, the capital of Qatar, where he was to attend the meeting.
In the presence of Erdoğan and Al Thani, 12 cooperation agreements in various fields and the Joint Declaration of the 9th Meeting of the Supreme Strategic Committee were signed.
Following the private meeting at Lusail Palace, President Erdoğan and Qatari Emir Sheikh Al Thani chaired the 9th Meeting of the Türkiye-Qatar High Strategic Committee.
After the meeting, in the presence of Erdoğan and Al Thani, the signing ceremony of the agreements between the two countries began.
