The Polish Army takes delivery of 9 additional POPRAD anti-aircraft air defense missile systems

According to an announcement made by the Polish Defense Minister Mariusz Błaszczak on December 15, The Polish army has taken delivery of 9 additional POPRAD anti-aircraft air defense missile systems.

The Polish Ministry of National Defense had signed an agreement with PIT-RADWAR worth $278.7m in December 2015 for the delivery of 79 Poprad anti-aircraft systems.

With the latest delivery of the POPRAD anti-aircraft air defense missile systems, the Polish army is finalizing the order for the 79 units of the contract signed back in 2015.

The Poprad is a self-propelled anti-aircraft missile system developed by PIT-RADWAR to provide the armed forces with short-range air defense capability.
