Baykar to exhibit its locally produced unmanned aerial vehicles in Qatar

Baykar will participate in the International Maritime Defense Exhibition and Conference DIMDEX, which will be held in Doha, the capital of Qatar, on March 4-6, 2024.

The company will welcome its visitors at booth H4-503 and will conduct meetings with with military and civilian delegations from different countries during the exhibition.

Baykar will exhibit its locally produced unmanned aerial vehicle products and services at the 3-day long exhibition.

DIMDEX, which will open its doors for the 8th time, will offer companies operating in various fields such as radar, missiles, sea mines and electronic warfare systems, as well as shipbuilding and ship-mounted technological systems, the opportunity to introduce their products and make new agreements.

The fair, which is held every two years, will also hold a conference with the participation of Naval Forces Commanders from Middle Eastern countries.

DIMDEX 2022

Under the coordination of the Turkish Presidency’s Defense Industry Agency and with the support of the Defense and Aerospace Industry Exporters' Association, the companies Anadolu Shipyard, Ares Shipyard, Armelsan, ASELSAN, ASFAT, BITES, BMC (Barzan Holding) Dearsan, Desan Shipyard, Dorce, Electroland, Esetron Defense, Fora Defense, HAVELSAN, HOYTEK, HTR, Isbir Elektrik, MENSAN, Meteksan Defense, MKE Inc., Nurol Makina, Oztek Tekstil, REPKON, ROKETSAN, SAHA Istanbul, SDT, Simsoft, STM, TAIS, Titra Technology, Turkish Aerospace Industries and Yonca Onuk have participated at DIMDEX 2022.

Türkiye, which participated in the exhibition held two years ago with 32 companies, will participate in DIMDEX 2024 as well.

In total, more than 200 companies from 20 countries exhibited their products at the exhibition.

DIMDEX 2018

More than 200 companies from 69 countries and more than 13,000 visitors participated in DIMDEX 2018. The exhibition hosted 27 deals and 35 partnerships worth approximately $32 billion.

33 companies from Türkiye participated in DIMDEX 2018. The economic value of the contracts signed by Turkish defense industry companies at this exhibition was approximately 800 million dollars.

DIMDEX 2020, hosted by the Qatar Armed Forces, was not held due to the coronavirus.
