After a 7.4 magnitude earthquake struck the eastern coastal city of Hualien in Taiwan on April 3, many countries offered to help. The Taiwanese government only accepted the offer of assistance from Türkiye's FLY Bvlos Technology company.
The team sent to Taiwan by Ankara-based Fly Bvlos Technology, one of the world's leading companies with the UAVs it has developed, was welcomed by state officials at the airport in Taipei.
Taiwan's Interior Minister Lin Yu Chang said the Turkish team has advanced experience in using drones to find people trapped under earthquake debris.
The company made the following statement:
"On behalf of Fly BVLOS Technology, we are here in the earthquake zone with our volunteer friends from our team to be with our friends in Taiwan, with whom we have signed many successful collaborations.
We declare that we will provide all the help we can as a team, and we are committed to working to return life to normal flow in Taiwan as soon as possible by mobilizing our means with the confidence and responsibility awareness that they only accepted help from us in the world."
FOX, the latest drone developed by FLY X, will be used for the first time in Taiwan
The FOX UAV, developed by Turkish engineers of FLY X company, which includes Fly BVLOS technology company, will be used for the first time in Taiwan.
After the earthquake disaster in Türkiye in February 2023, the Fly BVLOS Technology team went to the region and supported various activities such as search and rescue with drones.
The Jackal UAV produced by Fly Bvlos Technology is also used by the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (IBB) Disaster Coordination Center (AKOM).
Great interest in Fly BVLOS Technology from abroad
Turkish company Fly BVLOS Technology continues to attract the attention of many countries with its products and activities. Taiwan's acceptance of only the Fly BVLOS Technology team among the offers of assistance from abroad is the latest example of this.
