BMC: "We continued to work and produce in 2022"

Turkey's leading commercial and military vehicle manufacturer BMC has released a video showing its 2022 activities.

The video included the vehicles that BMC delivered in 2022, the events the company organized and the fairs it attended.

BMC, which stands for "British Motor Company", was founded in 1964. BMC, one of Turkey's largest commercial and military vehicle manufacturers, switched to the Savings Deposit Insurance Fund of Turkey (TMSF) in May 2013 due to Çukurova Holding's debts arising from Interbank.

In 2014, the Qatari army bought 49.9 percent of BMC, which the TMSF sold to Ethem Sancak for 751 million TL (which was equal to 360 million dollars at the time), for 300 million dollars in the same year.

In 2019, the Tank-Pallet Factory of the Land Forces Command in Sakarya was allocated to BMC, which received the Altay Tank tender in April 2018, for 25 years with an investment of 50 million dollars.

In June 2021, 50.1% of BMC's shares belonging to Öztürk and Sancak were sold to Tosyalı Holding.
