Defence Logistics Support Summit hosts 1300 people

Approximately 1300 visitors and over 65 companies with booths attended the 2nd Defence Logistics Support Summit - DLSS.

Organized by Ankara Chamber of Industry, the 2nd Military Logistics and Support Summit - DLSS hosted 1300 visitors and over 65 booth participants for two days. DLSS, Turkey's only specialized event focused on the field of military logistics, was launched at Hilton Garden Inn Gimat on October 4, 2022 with the support of Turkish Ministry of National Defense and the Defense Industry Agency.

The Ukrainian-Russian War was analyzed logistically

Among the important session topics of the Defence Logistics Support Summit were "Logistic Analysis of the Ukrainian-Russian War", "Unmanned / Autonomous Vehicles in War Conditions" Importance of Combat and Logistics Support in terms of "Space Dimension of Logistics and Future Approaches", "Integrated Product Support Management in the Defense Industry", "Effects of Life Cycle & R&D Management on Product/System Logistics Processes", "The Growing Importance of Employment/Logistics Units for the Logistics Continuity of Operations".

Decision makers' interest in the summit

DLSS was inaugurated by Ankara Chamber of Industry (ASO) President Nurettin Özdebir, Defense and Aerospace Manufacturers Association (SASAD) Chairman Osman Okyay and DLSS Organizing Committee Chairman Sami Atalan. The interest of decision makers and sector representatives in the opening of the Summit was high.

Important collaborations took place

2nd Defence Logistics Support Summit - DLSS hosted many cooperation agreements for two days. Bites Defense Aerospace Technologies and Milsoft Software Technologies signed a cooperation agreement in the field of Augmented Reality Based Maintenance System Integration within the scope of Integrated Product Support Management Software (Mil-ILS) at the 2nd Military Logistics and Support Summit.
