Lockheed Martin gets $1.4B contract to support C-130J

In an announcement made by the US Department of Defense on Jan. 31, 2022, The Lockheed Martin Corporation has been awarded a $1,420,000,000 indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract for the C-130J mission sustainment support effort.

This contract is for contractor logistics support and sustainment of the C-130J aircraft fleet. Work will be performed in Marietta, Georgia, and is expected to be completed by Jan. 31, 2032.

The Lockheed Martin C-130J Super Hercules is the newest version of the C-130 Hercules and the only model currently in production.
