SDT acquires 40 percent of Sirius

In order to increase its R&D and product development capacity in the field of defense technologies and to strengthen its domestic production strategy, SDT acquired 40 percent of Sirius Design Laboratory Engineering company operating in Ankara for 3 million 525 thousand liras.

In the statement published on the Public Disclosure Platform (KAP) regarding the company's investment, the following statements were included:

"In order to support and accelerate R&D and product development studies in the field of defense and to ensure that the foreign-sourced subsystems used in its products are designed, developed and produced domestically; The capital increase made by Sirius Design Laboratory Engineering Joint Stock Company, which carries out R&D, product design and development studies on aerodynamic design, navigation systems, digital and power electronics; 1,000 Group A shares with a nominal value of 500,-TL each, each with a nominal value of 500,000-TL, participated by paying a total of 3,525,000,- TL. As a result of the transaction, our company has acquired 40% of Sirius Design Laboratory Engineering Joint Stock Company."

In July 2023, SDT, a Turkish defense industry company operating in the fields of electronic warfare, communication, simulation, training, and mission systems, acquired CEY Defense and Simulation Systems Industry and Trade Inc., which was established in 2016 and works in the field of software and simulation.
