Turkish arms pioneer CANiK puts tailored products on display at Malaysian fair

Leading manufacturer of light and medium caliber weapons worldwide, CANiK, is showcasing its cutting-edge technology solutions tailored for Southeast Asia and the Asia-Pacific region at the Defence Services Asia (DSA) and National Security for Asia (NATSEC) events.

These exhibitions are being held in the Malaysian capital, Kuala Lumpur, from May 6-9. In a bid to fortify its connections with the Asian market, CANiK— a subsidiary of Samsun Yurt Savunma (SYS) — is leveraging these events to facilitate discussions, paving the way for new export opportunities.

As a globally recognized brand with exports spanning across four continents, CANiK aims to bolster its collaborations in the region through its participation in DSA and NATSEC 2024 which draw thousands of companies from 60 countries and over 400 delegations from 45 countries.

With its team of experts, CANiK is presenting its heavy machine gun family at the fairs, which includes CANiK M2 QCB, CANiK M2F, and CANiK M3. Additionally, the 30x113mm cannon, manufactured by AEI Systems— also a subsidiary of SYS — and produced by only three companies globally, is showcased alongside the remote-controlled weapon system (UKSS) developed by UNIROBOTICS, another group company.

Alongside UNIROBOTICS' UKSSs TRAKON and TRAKON LITE, CANiK is also unveiling its latest offerings, including the TTI Combat and SFx RIVAL-s, which have already garnered international acclaim, to attendees of the exhibition.
