Turkish engine delivered to BMC to be used in Vuran armored vehicle

Tuna, a 400 hp engine domestically produced in Turkey by BMC Power, was delivered to BMC to be used in the Multi-Purpose Armored Vehicle Vuran.

Within the scope of the Tactical Wheeled Armored Vehicle Engine (TTZA), the first mass-produced domestic engine designed and developed by Turkish engineers to enter the inventory of the Turkish Armed Forces was named "Tuna".

The 400 horsepower, 8.4 liter, 4-cylinder in-line engines will be used in BMC's Vuran Multi-Purpose Armored Vehicles.

A total of 90 engines will be delivered. In this context, the shipment of the first 20 TTZA engines will be completed by February 6.
