Baykar Defense announced that Bayraktar TB2 successfully carried out its first test shot using the electro-optical reconnaissance, surveillance and targeting system CATS developed by ASELSAN.
Baykar Defense made the following statement made on its Twitter account:
“Bayraktar TB2 successfully carried out its first test shot using the electro-optical reconnaissance, surveillance and targeting system CATS developed by ASELSAN.
Marking the target using the CATS system’s laser pointer, the UCAV successfully hit the target using the MAM-L Smart Micro Munition produced by ROKETSAN.”
