ASELSAN General Manager Ahmet Akyol and the accompanying delegation held various contacts in Qatar.
Company officials met with the military authorities of the country, primarily the Minister of Defense, the Chief of the General Staff.
ASELSAN continues its work by intensifying its negotiations in order to increase cooperation with the Gulf countries.
In his post from his X account, Akyol used the following statements:
"We are taking the strategic partnership between Turkey and Qatar to a much higher level with our defense technologies.
In Qatar, we discussed our ongoing projects and new cooperation opportunities with the military authorities, especially the Minister of Defense and the Chief of General Staff.
We met with our ASELSAN Qatar office team."
ASELSAN established a joint venture company with a 48 percent share in 2018 in order to support its increasing activities in Qatar.
