In a video recently released by the Azerbaijan Ministry of Defense, the Azerbaijani army was seen using Mechanical Mine Clearing Equipment (MEMATT) produced by ASFAT and the mine detector OZAN developed by TÜBİTAK BİLGEM.

Mechanical Mine Clearing Equipment exports from ASFAT to Azerbaijan
The two Mechanical Mine Clearing Equipment, delivered to the Ministry of Defense of Azerbaijan on February 04, 2021, successfully passed all the tests performed as part of the drills carried out in Azerbaijan.
The Azerbaijani army personnel who completed the training given by ASFAT on the use of the Mechanical Mine Clearing Equipment received training completion certificates.
ASFAT exported a total of 20 Mechanical Mine Clearing Equipment to Azerbaijan.
