Border security summit MRBS kicks off in Ankara

The third Military Radar and Border Security (MRBS) summit has started at Hacettepe University Beytepe Congress and Culture Center in the Turkish capital Ankara.

The two-day event is organized by the Ankara branch of Turkey’s Independent Industrialists and Businessmen Association (MUSIAD).

The summit, which has grown 4 times since the first organization, brings together the procurement committees from over 20 countries and local defense industry representatives.

This year nearly 100 firms, including leading Turkish defense industry and technology companies, have attended the MRBS to exhibit their latest products and to hold B2B meetings.

At the panels to be held during the summit, of which Defensehere.com is the official media partner, issues such as the latest developments in the protection of sensitive areas, the migrant crisis, national activities in the field of border management, new technologies in border security, the use of UAVs in cross-border operations and for border security, and mobile border security systems will be discussed.
