Malaysian tech giant SIRIM Berhad signs agreement with Turkish Aerospace

SIRIM Berhad, formerly known as Standard and Industrial Research Institute of Malaysia, announced in a press release today that it has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Turkish Aerospace on the development of an ecosystem for aerospace industry.

Within the scope of the MoU, both parties will co-operate in areas related to conformity assessment, quality and standards development, R&D and innovation of new technologies for aerospace industry.

The agreement was signed by the President and Group Chief Executive of SIRIM, Dato’ Dr Ahmad Sabirin Arshad and the Director of Turkish Aerospace Malaysia, Mr. Muhammad Najmi Ibrahim on the side-lines of the Selangor Aviation Show 2021.

The Signing ceremony was attended by the Vice President for Group Strategic Planning of SIRIM and the President and Chief Executive Officer of Turkish Aerospace Prof. Temel Kotil.
