National unmanned combat aircraft ANKA-3 made its first flight

The unmanned combat aircraft ANKA-3, developed by Turkish Aerospace with national resources, successfully made its first flight in the morning today.

ANKA-3, which was displayed on the runway for the first time in March 2023 and started taxi tests, will open a new page in the field of UAVs with its jet engine and speed, high payload capacity and tailless structure that is almost invisible on radar.

ANKA-3 will provide low radar visibility thanks to its "flying wing" structure.

ANKA-3, which can go up to 44 thousand feet and operate at 40 thousand feet, will be able to reach speeds as high as 0.7 mach and stay in the air for about 10 hours.

ANKA-3, which will have a maximum take-off weight of 6 and a half tons, will have a payload capacity of 200 kg.

The aircraft will have a total of 7 weapon stations, one of which is the center under the fuselage, two of which are internal and two under the wings.
