The Kazakh army is preparing to include the ANKA-S, purchased from TUSAS, in its fleet

Military trials of the unmanned aerial vehicle ANKA-S, developed within the Turkish defense industry, have started to be included in the fleet of the Kazakhstan army.

The Ministry of Defense of Kazakhstan shared an image of the process of testing the ANKA-S by Kazakh soldiers.

According to the statement made by the ministry, military trials of the Turkish unmanned aerial vehicle ANKA-S, which successfully passed the acceptance test stages, have begun.

Head of the UAV Combat Use Training Center Shokan Musabekov reported that ANKA-S was flown for the first time under the control of Kazakh military personnel.

Musabekov noted that in case of successful completion of the military test, ANKA-S will be included in the fleet of the Kazakhstan Air Defense Forces.

Stating that the flight speed of ANKA-S, which has a wingspan of up to 18 meters, varies between 120 and 270 kilometers, Musabekov also stated that the vehicle can operate in the sky for up to 27 hours without interruption.

Major Nikolay Kirillov stated that ANKA-S is not similar to the systems they have used before and said, "ANKA-S UAV acts differently from the systems we are used to. I think that with the technical support of Turkish experts, we will quickly take control of this system."
