Meteksan Defence, which develops domestically produced original and advanced technology solutions and contributes to the Turkish economy by exporting these solutions abroad, was established 18 years ago on April 20, 2006.
Meteksan Defence develops products and subsystems for security forces with the goal of becoming Türkiye's Technology Development Center.
The advanced technology systems and subsystems produced by Meteksan Defence are used for command and control, communication, reconnaissance, surveillance and intelligence purposes as well as for surface and underwater platforms, helicopters, unmanned aerial vehicles and missile systems.
Since its establishment, Meteksan Defence has completed more than 100 projects with successful deliveries in Türkiye and abroad, while exporting its products to various friendly and allied countries from Europe to Asia, from the Far East to the Middle East. The company, which derives a significant portion of its revenue from export achievements, makes significant contributions to Türkiye's defense and aerospace export targets.
As a Bilkent Holding Group Company, all resources generated by Meteksan Defence are transferred to Bilkent University with the mission of contributing to its goal of becoming one of the world's leading educational institutions.
While taking part in many critical projects in Türkiye, Meteksan Defence operates in six main areas: radar systems, perimeter surveillance systems, laser and electro-optical systems, communication systems, underwater acoustic systems and platform simulators.
