“This agreement is a great source of pride for Turkey and us”

Stating that they have achieved an important export milestone in Turkey in the production of UAVs that require high precision and high technology, Fly BVLOS General Manager Murat Islıoğlu said, “As Fly BVLOS, we transfer our experience and knowledge from the past to the future. We develop drone technologies. We provide flight training on these drones. Our aircraft, named JACKAL, which we manufacture and which has domestic and national software, can carry a minimum of 15 kg of payload and can fly 130 kilometers. With this first UAV sale to England, which is one of the best in world trade and value-added technology; We are very proud of our company and our country. Our friends have done serious R&D studies for a very long time. They achieved significant success. I would like to thank everyone who contributed to this agreement, which makes us all smile today, from the management staff to the engineers, from the technicians working in the production to the workers, and also to the Rector of GTU, Mr. Muhammed Hasan Aslan and all the university staff for their support.”

Flyby Technology founder Jon Parker stated that the purchased JACKAL UAV was chosen because it is very suitable for trainings with its new generation features and made the following assessment: “As one of the leading brands in drone pilot training, we chose the JACKAL unmanned aerial vehicle for our trainings because we think that this is the system that smart operators will buy. You need to train new generation pilots in new generation aircraft. These are long-range flight control systems that carry heavy loads and are different from hobby equipment of the past. We can say that JACKAL is exactly the UAV we are looking for with the features it has. If you want to change the rules of the game, you have to own the ball! With the difference it will make in training, JACKAL will provide us with the ability to train pilots around the world and grow our business. It will embrace the concept of Drones for Good and will allow us to use the platform in peacekeeping missions and with NGOs.”

All R&D studies of JACKAL, produced by Fly BVLOS Technology, a subsidiary of Coşkunöz Holding, together with Maxwell Innovations, were developed entirely in Dronepark. JACKAL, which has a unique design and locally developed code, can be used to transport cargo and provide logistics services. The Unmanned Aerial Vehicle JACKAL is planned to fly across the ocean in adverse weather conditions. Thanks to its VTOL feature, JACKAL can take-off and land anywhere without the need for a runway. JACKAL is planned to fly missions in adverse weather conditions and in various scenarios such as humanitarian aid, monitoring and observation, sensitive data logistics.
