A cooperation protocol between the Defence and Aerospace Industry Exporters' Association (SSI) and Defense Industry Manufacturers Association (SASAD), was signed under the auspices of the President of the Presidency of Turkish Defence Industries (SSB), Prof. Dr. İsmail DEMİR, in a ceremony held in Ankara in the headquarters of SSB.
The President of SSB Prof. Dr. İsmail Demir said during his speech at the ceremony, that the most important elements of sustainability are export and business generation by companies in global markets.
Stating that he finds this protocol very important for export activities, President Demir also stated that the Export and Promotion Committee established by SASAD will further boost exports.
Emphasizing that new export models, methods and initiatives should be discussed, and new strategies should be determined at this point, President Demir said, “By doing the same things, you will get the same results. We have achieved certain results by doing specific things. If we want to get past a certain threshold, I believe that a strategy study should be conducted as the industry in general, stakeholders and SSB by sitting down and discussing what we can do better, what we can do differently and what we can reach.”
