Ukrainian army starts using Turkish HATSAN's drone hunter rifle

The Ukrainian Army has started using BTS-12 rifles produced by the Turkish company HATSAN against Russian drones.

HATSAN General Manager Bahtiyar Taşyağan told Defensehere that 4 thousand of the 10 thousand orders received from the Ukrainian army two months ago have been delivered. Stating that the remaining 6,000 units will be sent on the delivery date, Taşyağan noted that the rifle was requested from them as a result of the positive results obtained after the rifle was personally tested in Ukraine.

Why BTS-12?

The BTS-12, whose stock is made of high quality synthetic material, can move up and down, and the cocking handle can be attached to the right or left. This feature makes the rifle suitable for left-handed users. Thanks to the 22 mm picatinny rails on the frame and handguard, it is easy to mount fork legs, flashlights and optical products. The handguard has a lighter and more elegant appearance by placing the powder gas discharge holes on the barrel.
