Rheinmetall will display Boxer Infantry Fighting Vehicle (IFV) and Boxer Skyranger variants on its stand at DSEI2023. This is based upon the already proven Boxer Drive and Mission Module design, coupled with a Skyranger turret. There are two Skyranger variants, incorporating a 30mm or a 35mm Oerlikon Revolver Cannon, both with air burst ammunition.
The production of Boxer IFV and Boxer Skyranger has the potential to generates a further 280 direct, highly-skilled jobs in Rheinmetall’s UK business, as well as 500 jobs in the supply chain.
