One of the largest planned exercises of the Turkish Armed Forces, EFES-2022 Combined, Joint Field Live-Fire Exercise has been completed.
EFES-2022 exercise, where 37 countries participated and more than 10 thousand personnel worked side by side, was carried out between 09 May - 09 June 2022 in the Doğanbey region of Seferihisar, Izmir.
In EFES-2022, domestic defense products, some already in the inventory of the Turkish Armed Forces (TAF) and some yet to active duty, were also used.
Distinguished Observer Day
EFES-2022's Distinguished Observer Day activities were held in the Doğanbey Shooting Practice Area in the Seferihisar district of İzmir between 08 – 09 June 2022.
The distinguished observer day of the exercise in the Doğanbey Atışlı Exercise Area was attended by President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, MHP Chairman Devlet Bahçeli, Vice President Fuat Oktay, Minister of National Defense Hulusi Akar, AK Party Deputy Chairman and Chairman of the Aksakallar Council of the Turkic States Organization Binali Yıldırım and TAF commanding staff.
Defense Industry Days Exhibition
During the exercise, the Defense Industry Days exhibition was held between 31 May - 9 June.
More than 40 defense industry companies exhibited their products in a 7 thousand 560 square meter area.
