Prime Minister of the Republic of Niger and Minister of Economy and Finance Ali Mahamane Lamine Zeine, President of Defense Industries Prof. Dr. Haluk Görgün and the accompanying delegation visited ASELSAN.
Zeine, who came to Türkiye at the invitation of President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, met with ASELSAN General Manager Ahmet Akyol and received information about the ongoing projects. Within the scope of the visit, ASELSAN's production facilities were visited and the works were examined on site.
Haluk Görgün, in his post on his X account, used the following statements:
"We hosted the Prime Minister and Minister of Economy and Finance of the Republic of Niger, Ali Mahamane Lamine Zeine, who came to our country at the invitation of our President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, at our Presidential Complex and ASELSAN, one of our advanced technology bases.
We held meetings between delegations that also concern our Defense Industry. Our joint visits, where we will showcase the high capabilities of our industry, will continue tomorrow."
Ahmet Akyol, on the other hand, used the following statements in his post from his X account:
