Russia’s exporter of military hardware Rosoboronexport (an affiliate of Rostec) is prepared to offer its foreign clients projects for upgrading the air defense systems Pantsir-S1, the corporation’s CEO Alexander Mikheyev told Russian news agency, TASS, ahead of the international weapons show IDEX 2021.
"Russia is ready to offer Pantsir upgrade projects to its foreign partners. The corresponding research and development have been carried out," Mikheyev said.
The holding company High Precision Weapons will be commissioned to upgrade Pantsir-S1 for foreign operators.
The latest version of the upgraded system Pantsir-S1 is Pantsir-S1M, demonstrated at the international military show Army-2019.
The IDEX 2021 weapons show is the largest in the Middle East. This year it will be held in the United Arab Emirates on February 21-25.
