Russian military vehicle producer Remdizel eyes Saudi Arabia as a gate to the Middle East market

Russian military vehicle producer Remdizel has showcased their new truck, the Za-SPN “Titan” with a capacity of 50 ton and turret for 300 mm cannon and 12.7 mm heavy machine gun in the World Defense Show at Riyadh.

Alexander Zakharov, CEO of Remdizel told DefenseHere that the company is more than 40 years old and after years of maintenance works, they started manufacturing trucks some years ago.

Zakharov presented the Za-SPN “Titan” truck, showcased in Rosoboronexport’s outdoors booth during WDS 2024, to DefenseHere:
“Behind us we see the new truck, which is very new for the for this segment because this truck is with up to 50 tons and it carries a very heavy weapon on top because we have a turret with a 300mm cannon and 12.7mm machine gun. Plus, we have the anti-missile system, anti-tank missile system. It's quite a serious weapon for the for the field for the combat operation.”

Zakharov, emphasizing their interest in expanding into the Middle East market, said:
“Our own army because of this situation and the Middle East have a very high interest for the truck.
If we have a market in the Middle East, it opens up markets in some of the countries like African countries as well.
We have an interest to open up a branch here joint venture because as I said, this could be a base for the international business.”
