Save the date: Türkiye's premier defense fair IDEF’25 to be held in July in Istanbul

The 17th edition of the prestigious International Defense Industry Fair, IDEF’25, is scheduled to take place at the Istanbul Expo Center between July 22nd and 27th, 2025.

The National Defense Ministry will serve as the host, with the support of the Defense Industry Agency of Türkiye (SSB) and under the management and auspices of the Turkish Armed Forces Foundation (TSKGV).

IDEF, renowned as one of the foremost defense industry exhibitions globally, will make its debut at the Istanbul Expo Center in 2025, showcasing cutting-edge technologies. The exhibition will feature an extensive array of products, including armored combat vehicles, tactical armored vehicles, unmanned land, air, and naval vehicles, weapon systems, rockets, long-range anti-tank missile systems, semi-active laser-guided missile systems, guided missiles, infantry weapons, military simulators, electronic warfare solutions, power groups, explosive disposal equipment, and military software.

IDEF’25 will serve as a hub, bringing together exhibitors and visitors from diverse regions worldwide in Istanbul. Organized by KFA Fuarcılık, a subsidiary of the Bursa Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BTSO), the event will also facilitate new collaborations with its innovative concept.

IDEF'23 was visited by 94,198 people from 107 countries

Since 1993, IDEF International Defense Industry Fair, which has been held every two years, has been successfully held 16 times.

The 16th International Defence Industry Fair IDEF'23 was held at Istanbul TÜYAP Fair and Congress Center between 25-28 July 2023. IDEF'23 was visited by 94,198 people from 107 countries.

The fair hosted a total of 1,461 companies, 689 domestic and 772 foreign companies from 54 countries operating in the fields of defense, security, maritime, aviation and space industries. The event hosted 189 delegations from 81 countries.

Many domestic products were debuted at the last edition of the fair, including 200 new products from Turkish defense giant Aselsan and seven products by Türkiye’s leading rocket and missile manufacturer, Roketsan.
