Türksat 5B satellite to serve Azerbaijan

A partnership agreement was signed between Turksat and the Space Agency of the Republic of Azerbaijan (Azercosmos). Under the agreement, Turksat 5B satellite will serve the entire territory of Azerbaijan.

Turksat and Azercosmos, two of the region's leading satellite operators, came together at the IAC 2023 Baku International Space Congress. A partnership agreement was signed for Turksat 5B, the newest satellite of the Turksat fleet, which will enable it to provide satellite broadband services to both consumer and corporate customers in all Azerbaijani territories.

Thanks to Türksat 5B's latest High Throughput Satellite (HTS) technology, up to 100 Mbps per user will be able to be served from the satellite.
