8x8 Wheeled Rescue Vehicles, produced by Turkish rescue vehicles manufacturer, MPG Machinery, are on active duty in the Turkish Armed Forces (TAF), company official disclosed in an interview with defensehere.com.

Our product, which is being produced by our company MPG which is based in Konya, to be used in the rescue and handling activities of wheeled vehicles in the inventory of the Turkish Armed Forces is called Wheeled Rescue Vehicle.

Wheeled Rescue Vehicles have a lifting capacity of 25 tons

The crane with a laying distance of 12 meters on it has a lifting capacity of 7 meters and 25 tons. In the same way, with the apparatus we call gözlük on the back side, it is aimed to take action in rescue operations by lifting wheeled vehicles from their axles. It has optional protection equipment such as gun turret, CBRN, jammer. Thanks to this equipment, it is designed to take these vehicles safely from the threat areas to safe areas and for this purpose, it is currently actively working in the field. A central tire inflation system is available.

In this context, our negotiations are continuing in the context of exports with the countries where wheeled vehicles are used from our country, and I hope that our goal is to export to friendly and allied countries as soon as possible and to ensure that they take active part in these countries as well."
