BARKAN, an unmanned ground vehicle developed by HAVELSAN, has overcome 1000 kilometers in snowy and muddy fields and challenging terrain.

One of the vehicles offered to the use of Turkish security forces is the "medium class level 1 unmanned land vehicle" BARKAN. BARKAN, one of the land-based elements of the "digital unity" concept carried out by HAVELSAN, emerged after the first version vehicle was developed in accordance with user requests.

BARKAN, which entered the inventory at the end of 2023 following field tests, has covered more than 1000 kilometers in difficult geographical conditions covered with snow and mud.

BARKAN can reach speeds of more than 13 kilometers per hour and can operate for more than 5 hours.
