CANiK has completed its final preparations for the 16th International Defense Industry Fair IDEF 2023 to be held in Istanbul July 25-28.
CANiK will greet visitors from Stands 413A and 413B in Hall 4 at the TÜYAP Fair and Congress Center and will hold various meetings as part of the fair.
CANiK said in a statement that Turkey is preparing to make a mark on the world defense industry field with IDEF ‘23. IDEF ‘23 is opening its doors for the 16th time this year and will take place under the auspices of the Presidency of the Turkish Republic, hosted by the Turkish Ministry of National Defense, and under the administration and responsibility of the Turkish Armed Forces Foundation.
At IDEF ‘23 the CANiK M3, an advanced new version of Turkey’s national, CANiK-produced 12.7 mm anti-aircraft gun CANiK M2 QCB, will be showcased for the first time. Last year CANiK acquired British AEI systems, a global leader in medium caliber cannon production, and will exhibit the VENOM LR, one of the most ambitious products in the world in its class, for the first time at IDEF ‘23.
CANiK, which made waves with its investment in the production of 30x113 mm cannons of great importance for sea, air and land platforms, aims to boost Turkey's power with the capabilities it will bring to the Turkish Armed Forces as well as the militaries of friendly and allied states with the VENOM LR. CANiK will also exhibit to the world the entire National Technology Move product line of UNIROBOTICS, one of the group companies of Samsun Yurt Savunma (SYS), with which it is affiliated, at IDEF ‘23 this year.
